The Mocha Lab Blend 01 is our first signature blend, created as an introduction to the world of Yemen Mocha coffee.
This blend brings together two of our most distinctive coffees: Premium Mattari from the highlands of Bani Mattar and Taiz Choco from the fertile mountains of Taiz. Though grown in different regions, both coffees share the rich heritage that has made Yemen famous among coffee lovers for centuries.
Rather than simply combining two existing coffees, each component was carefully roasted with this blend in mind. The roast profiles were developed specifically to complement one another, allowing the unique character of each origin to shine while creating greater balance, sweetness, and complexity in the final cup.
By combining the deep chocolate notes, sweetness, and body of Taiz Choco with the complexity, fruit character, and elegance of Premium Mattari, we created a cup that is approachable yet layered, familiar yet distinctly Yemeni.
